WARNING AGAINST BOOKS The author purports to answer various questions asked by kids using the "voice of God". However, the "answers" that he gives are not Bible-based and go against the very infallible word of God. For instance (and I paraphrase), when a girl poses the question "I am living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I should marry him because I am living in sin. Should I marry him?" His reply is, "Who are you sinning against? Not me, because you have done nothing wrong." Another question asks about God's forgiveness of sin. His reply "I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive. There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone, do not judge people. People have chosen to judge one another and this is wrong, because the rule is "'judge not lest ye be judged." The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. Is Jesus the Shepherd in our marriage? Do we know what He asks of us in our Sacrament of Marriage? This will make it easy for you to find a Mass location and time wherever you are going on vacation Heart of the Plains Plaza Construction The cemetery committee ordered the altar, heart stone, and pedestal for the Sacred Heart statue. The altar is the same granite as the Rosary benches. A tablet of rose granite will be engraved with the Sacred Heart and placed in the front center of the altar. The pedestal for the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue will be constructed of granite that is shades of gray with rose running through it. The committee hopes to have these set by the first anniversary of our dedication, November 2, 2008. Stations of the Cross Benches Available Fourteen benches will be placed around the perimeter of the cross-shaped plaza marking the Stations of the Cross. The benches are three feet in length and will be the same granite as the pedestal: a gray and rose blend called paradisio. Each bench is available for donation as were the benches for the Rosary mysteries. Due to increases in shipping costs, each bench is $1,284.00 which includes the inscription of the Station on one side and the donor’s intention on the other (your family’s name, the name of a deceased loved one, a special intention, etc.). The price also includes delivery and setting fees. These benches will set directly on the plaza which will be constructed of concrete. The benches have been ordered, as well, and will be inscribed and delivered as they are donated. Mass begins at 5:00 PM and Adoration will start immediately following Mass for about 1 hour.
