Masses and Adoration
Holy Family Monday evening Prayer Hour. Please join us at the church each Monday evening from 6:00 -7:00 pm as we pray for the needs and intentions of our families, our parishes and our beloved country.
Holy Family would like to thank everyone who purchased a magnet for the Keep Christ in Christmas campaign and for Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Lourdes for helping to sell them. Everyone’s support was greatly appreciated.
A Prayer for Catechists
O God, our Heavenly Father, you have given us the gift of these catechists to be heralds of the Gospel to our parish family.
We lift them up to you in thanksgiving and intercede for them concerning their hopes and needs. May we be attentive to the presence of your Word in them, a Word that lifts up and affirms, calls forth and challenges, is compassionate and consoles. We pray that our parish family will always be blessed with those who have responded to the call to share in Christ’s prophetic mission as catechists. May we too be open to the universal call to service that Christ addresses to all of his disciples, contributing our gifts to the communion of faith, the Church. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS: Gentle God, You call us by name and lead us to life. Through baptism you commission us to proclaim the Good News. Bless and strengthen all men and women, lay and ordained, who serve in the Church. Guide and give wisdom to those discerning their vocation. Enrich our Church with dedicated married and single people, with priests, religious and deacons. Filled with joy and your Holy Spirit may we follow Jesus, our Good Shepherd, now and always. Amen.
YOU can help save lives! Our Archdiocese will be one of many around the world joining together for a faith-filled, groundbreaking, coordinated pro-life mobilization -- 40 Days for Life. 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of: 40 days of prayer and fasting and 40 days of peaceful vigil. We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout the world. Please prayerfully consider joining us at Planned Parenthood on 38th/Quebec, Denver as we join together in peaceful vigil for the end to abortion. To add yourself to the schedule, please go to www.40daysforlife.com/denver, click on the VIGIL tab at the top of the page, Register and sign up for the time slot that best suits your schedule. Campaign starts on March 9 and ends April 17th. We need to fill every hour from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every single day for 40 days. In the words of Mother Theresa, "A sacrifice to be real must cost, must hurt, must empty ourselves..." Your sacrificial donation of time and effort will be greatly appreciated.
All Parish Prayer Line
Holy Family and Our Lady of Lourdes are beginning an all-parish prayer line. Through a chain of phone calls, one family will contact the next family until everyone has been notified. Each family will then pray for the special need sometime before the end of the day. What will the need be? It could be sickness, car accident, death bed, and etc. These are all serous needs. What do we pray? A Rosary, if possible, is the first request because of the seriousness. You may include this intention in your family Rosary that night. To be a part of this wonderful chain, please sign up in the back of your church. If you have any questions, please contact for Holy Family, Mary Jane Vodicka at 303-732-9355 or for Our Lady of Lourdes, Inez Baltazar at 970-483-6535.
